Cropped Silk Mosaic Drape

£150.00

Description

Made from the beautifully unique Achadiya silk, the Silk Mosaic Drape is an effortless layer that flows with your movement. Its relaxed, cropped silhouette overlaps gently at the front, creating soft, elegant lines. Whether worn over a bikini and shorts by day or layered over your favourite dress for the evening, this piece transitions seamlessly between moments. Each piece is unique, featuring a mosaic of layered patterns and organic markings that reflect nature’s rhythm - from falling blossoms to dappled light and branches in the wind. Designed without ties or fastenings, it’s an easy, versatile staple you'll reach for again and again.

This piece is made in three tonal variations of Achadiya silk:

Batch 1- Layers of indigo patterns on light cream

Batch 2 - Indigo patterns with subtle sandy tones created by the iron mordant

Batch 3 - Larger scale indigo patterns with deeper sandy tones created by the iron mordant.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed and repurposed fabrics, subtle variations in colour, tone and pattern are expected and celebrated. Each piece is thoughtfully constructed by a small team in Cornwall, embracing the beauty in imperfections and visible mending. Designed to be worn, lived in, and cherished over time.

Size, fit, and details:

  • One size (M): Fits UK sizes 8-14.

  • Oversized, easy-wearing draped fit.

  • Our lovely model Merry is 5”6 and size 10.

For this first collection we’ve made the garments in one size to avoid over production. (S/M) UK size 8-12. We will be making more sizes going forward, but feel free to get in touch with your size request and we’ll keep this in mind for the next small batch production.

Care Details

  • I advise to rarely wash this piece, but when you do wash separately for the first wash, as natural indigo dye may release some colour.

  • Ideally hand wash or machine at 30ºC on a gentle cycle.

  • 100% silk

  • We offer a visible mending service to repair and extend the life of your garments over time. Please get in touch for more details and costs.
