Indigo Artist Waistcoat

from £115.00

Description

Adapted from our Artist Jacket, the Indigo Artist Waistcoat drapes over the body in a boxy, geometric shape. Inspired by the form and function of a painter’s smock, it blends workwear practicality with a creative, minimalist style.Cut from lightweight indigo-dyed Kala cotton, it features deep front pockets and ties that wrap around the body like an apron—or can be worn loose for a more relaxed feel. A hand-stitched red running thread traces the collar and armholes, subtly highlighting the form (available with or without stitch detailing). Ideal for layering in the studio or beyond, it’s a versatile piece with quiet character—both practical and poetic.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed and repurposed fabrics, subtle variations in colour, tone and pattern are expected and celebrated. Each piece is thoughtfully constructed by a small team in Cornwall, embracing the beauty in imperfections and visible mending. Designed to be worn, lived in, and cherished over time.
