Reversible Quilted Waistcoat - Indigo

from £265.00

Description

One of our absolute favourites! Made from quilted Achadiya cotton, indigo-dyed Kala cotton, and a soft layer of cotton wadding, this jacket is sewn and quilted in Cornwall with care and intention. The Achadiya and Kala layers are stitched with diagonal lines that form a subtle diamond pattern, bringing gentle structure and durability while highlighting the contrast between the geometric quilting and the organic, asymmetrical patterns of the Achadiya cotton beneath.

Adapted from our original Artist Jacket, this wraparound, boxy silhouette feels like a gentle hug. Fully reversible, it offers two looks in one: flaunt the expressive surface of the Achadiya, or flip to a cleaner indigo side for a more pared-back style. Thoughtfully constructed for layering, its mid-weight warmth and versatile cut make it ideal across seasons—worn over dresses, shirts, jumpers, or lightweight summer tops.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed and repurposed fabrics, subtle variations in colour, tone and pattern are expected and celebrated. Each piece is thoughtfully constructed by a small team in Cornwall, embracing the beauty in imperfections and visible mending. Designed to be worn, lived in, and cherished over time.

Made to Order

The first small batch of this item has now sold out, so it’s available on a Made to Order basis. Once purchased, your garment will be thoughtfully sewn in Cornwall by our small production team, just for you.

Please allow up to 30 days for completion, depending on order volume. If you need your item sooner, or have specific details or a preferred delivery date in mind, please let us know. We’ll always do our best to accommodate.

Size, fit, and details:

  • One size (M): Fits UK sizes 8-12

  • Relaxed, boxy, easy-wearing fit.

  • Wrap around style with ties to close.

  • Fully Reversible. Pockets on Achadiya side only

  • Our lovely model Merry is 5”6 and size 10.

For this first collection we’ve made the garments in one size to avoid over production. (S/M) UK size 8-12. We will be making more sizes going forward, but feel free to get in touch with your size request and we’ll keep this in mind for the next small batch production.

Care Details

  • Wash separately for the first wash, as natural indigo dye may release some colour.

  • Machine wash at 30ºC on a gentle cycle.

  • 100% cotton, including wadding.

  • We offer a visible mending service to repair and extend the life of your garments over time. Please get in touch for more details and costs.
